If I change the expiration date to a sooner date than intially entered, I do
see the expiration date transaction date change. However, I do still see
future vesting transactions. When the expiration date was changed to, say
today, shouldn't the future vesting transactions automatically delete?

It would be nice if they did, but Quicken's not that smart. When Quicken creates
multiple transactions (as in your example), and you want to make changes, you
have to edit each one separately.
