It is really easy. Visit the following link by "Click" or "Copy/Paste"

http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

Just enter " Pavilion 8660c " and then navigate to " Setup and install " and

from there choose " Product upgrades ". There are several choices, even video.

Oddly enough, I have the same model and 3 days ago on boot up I recieved a

message stating "SMART Predicted Failure backup harddrive and replace etc."

After a little Google research I found a replacement for mine available, it is

a "Quantum Fireball ltc10". I am not sure I will replace it with the same type

it is a little slow, small (GB's) & dated.

Out of sheer luck, I recently purchased a removable USB 160GB Hard drive at

RadioShack for $200.00 less $30.00 on a rebate with Accucom Data. It works well

with my new USB 2.0 card. I backed up my the entire contents of my C drive to

it all 14GB and took a deep breath.

Hope this helps you!
