Hi:
I have PSC 2510 AIO and have a recurring set of problems. First, the print
spooler often crashes and I get a Windows error message to that effect when
I send a print job. At that point, if I check the printers menu in Control
Panel, it shows I have no printers. I can refresh or just wait.
Eventually, the document prints.
Second, periodically (and not seeming related to any specific action on my
part) the printer reinstalls itself.
I think this is a great piece of hardware with crappy software. Any help
would be appreciated.
My system is a Gateway Profile 4 (Pentium 5, 512 MB RAM), XP Home, and I am
using the printer in wireless mode on a Linksys 802.11g network. According
to the HP utility provided with the printer, I have up to date software and
my Windows system is also up to date. I am running McAfee virus protection.
I had this problem with the printer when I was using Norton Antivirus and HP
support pointed to it as the problem
Thanks.

You're not alone! Try googling to find some solutions. I have the same
printer and have had the exact same problems (and others). I don't think
there's much you can do until HP gets off its ass and does something about
the shite software....
