View Full Version : Scan Doc Resolution/Type on HP 6110 Officejet

I have an HP6110 Officejet all-in-one. No matter what settings I put
in the HP Director for the various types of document scanning (doc as
text, doc as image, doc as editable text, etc), the scanner interface
is defaulting to millions of colors. :( I usually do text documents
as black & white.
Also, if I have papers in the hopper they automatically start scanning
when the interface comes up - at millions of colors.
I really need to be able to pick what I'm scanning BEFORE I scan -
pic, doc, etc. and what resolution.
Am I missing something or is HP's scanner interface for this just
crap? I've worked with a few scanners over the years and none have
been this difficult to adjust.
Thanks,
Carla
