I have just reinstalled an old HP Pavilion 6345 with W98 and have goit
the right drivers for the M45 Monitor, but I cant find display adapter
drivers anywhere so I can only get 640x480 in 16 colours. I want at
leats 800x600 but i cant get internal graphics card drivers anywhere (No
i dont have a recovery CD)
Does anyone have drivers or know where i can downbload them?
Cheers
Pete

This computer uses the SiS 5598 chipset, with integrated graphics. Go to the
SiS web site and download the video drivers for the 5598 chipset. While you're
at it, download the motherboard chipset drivers for the 5598, too. Install them
first, then the video drivers. After that, you should be all set.
The SiS 5598 and other motherboard chipsets are now the same, no matter what the
brand name of the computer, so you can always find chipset drivers at the
chipset manufacturers' web sites.
AFAIK, the M45 monitor does not need any special drivers. It's the motherboard
video drivers, or lack thereof, that are causing the problem... Ben Myers

Pete, I have a driver package that HP put out for the M45 (I still
have one of those myself) that is 813kb in size. If you can ensure
that you have room in an email acct for it, I will zip it up and send
it off for you.

Thanks Mike, I already have the M45 driver, (size as you stated) which I
managed to find on the HP website.
Thanks for the reply though.
