I'm having problems setting up online banking with Quicken. When I
click to set up online banking it eventually comes to a popup window
that tells me if I have registered for online banking with my bank and
have a password, etc., to click on 3 in the banner in the other window
to proceed. I do so and nothing happens, it's as if there's no button
there. Options 1 & 2 in this banner work fine but the 3rd one just
doesn't work and I'm stuck. Can anyone help me please? I am using
Quicken 2002 Personal Plus SE [2nd edition.]
M.M.
Update: Trying to fix this myself,I uninstalled Quicken, removed all
related files & folders from my hard drive, re-installed it [yet when
I opened Quicken again after restarting after reinstallation all my
information was there - like it hadn't been uninstalled] and now the
online banking menu option doesn't even appear under 'banking' !!

This is not a problem to re-install Quicken about.
It's just silliness in how these menus/pop-ups work. Those buttons are more a
descriptive procedure than how it really works.
Goto the Overview for the account, and Edit Account Details to add your general
online account # information. This is what it needs, to make a connection, and
believe that you have got the information from your bank. Then goto Change
Online Services to activate.
The first time you can initiate a download, it will set it's internal state to
believe it's all setup.
Good luck.
Dave.

Thanks for your advice Dave but I tried this, it will allow me to edit
account number, etc. but will not allow me to change any online
account info, it says something like 'not allowed' I also cannot
locate the "Change Online Services" in the menus. Any ideas ?
Thanks
Marc
