Accounts in the accounts

I am wanting to clean up my ever growing Quicken file a bit. With
that said I have dozens of old accounts that have not been used in
years and will probably never be used again.

What happens to the transfers "in" if I delete those accounts? In
other words are the funds returned to it's original source?
