Keyboard gone crazy

Have HP Pavilion 8805 with HP Multimedia keyboard having twist knob
volume control & shortcut buttons.

Now the TAB key brings up MS Money 99.
Up arrow key pulls up the HP Demo Movie.
Left & right arrow key closes screen window.
Down arrow minimizes window,,,
etc, etc.

Reinstalled drivers using Device Manger = no joy.
Check online drivers, says mine are newer.

Plugged in old Packard-Bell keyboard, works fine but key spacing is too
tight for me.
Any advice is welcome.
