View Full Version : LJ 5si 2000 Sheet Feeder-PS35 on VTU

It seems I have an issue with the PS35 interlock on the VTU of the 2000
Sheet feeder for my 5si. The printer does not recognize the VTU door to be
opened. Consequently, whenever I have a jam in this area, I need to power
down the machine to clear the error. The slide mechanism is intact and
working (the one which blocks the photosensor for PS35). How common is it
for the actual sensor to go out? Am I missing a troubleshooting step
somewhere? The machine won't even recognize the door is open in an idle
state. Thanks for any advice.
