I have not found much about Xebec HD controllers used in early HP disk
storage systems such as the 9133A.

I have several of these with a number of ROMs and I have managed to get
two working with ST506's as single volumes with HP-150's. One also works
as a four-volume drive while the other works only as a single-volume.
These controllers speak a peculiar dialect of Amigo.

I also have a much smaller controller which does not have HPIB interface.

All I have is a picture and a vague, oblique reference to the use of Xebec
boards in the drive unit. There is no info on jumper settings, test
points, diags, etc.

The original Xebec no longer exists. The current Xebec has nothing to do
with disk controllers. HP has no info.

Does anyone have some info on the Xebec HD controllers as used in HP disk
units?

TIA
