Hi,
Need help.

Desktop Pavillion will not start. Get 1 long beep and 2 short. Does not
seem to try to boot from hard drive - no hard drive sounds. 3.5" floppy
does spin up (for what good that is), tried to boot from CD drive - no
luck.
Any help appreciate.

One long and two short? Memory problems? Check the SIMM or DIMM memory modules
to make sure they are snug in their sockets. If a system can't get past these
alarm type beeps, it won't do ANYTHING else either... Ben Myers

Thank you. Had removed/replaced the video card but had not done the memory.
Worked like a charm.
