View Full Version : All-in-one driver hack

I purchased one of the HP PSC All-In-Ones a year or so ago (HP PSC 2210).
Soon after that HP started selling a wireless version of the printer (which
is what I really wanted).
The older versions will not let you scan or fax via a wired or wireless
network. (However, I did get printing working with cups stuff on Mac OS X
and ip printing from windows)
If I have a hub or usb equipped wireless base station, is there any way to
trick the newer drivers into working with this older printer? Is it going to
take some hacking, or worse case scenario, buying the newer printer,
installing it, then faking out the driver with the older printer?
Thanks for any insights.
Angelo

Ok, if no one has any ideas, are there other forums that I should check out
for something like this?
Thanks,
Angelo
