Hi,

I have a HP OfficeJet 2200 with Scanner, Printer, Fax, ... I only want
to use my scanner under Windows XP with Paint and need no seperate
Scanner-Software!

When pluggin in the USB, Windows XP shows a dialog for initializing new
found hardware. The drivers can be found on a separate driver CD-ROM (HP
PSC 2100 & 2200 Series).

My problem is, that when installing this hardware drivers from the
separate CD-ROM, I can't install only the scanner-drivers, but have to
install the complete Scanner software with OCR software and so on!

Is there a possibility to only install the drivers for the hardware and
use the scanner within the menu items under Paint??
