Hello,
I have recently purchased an LG GCC-4480B 48/24/48/16 CD-RW/DVD-ROM
combo Drive for my daughter and from what I've read in other postings
is that it seems to have a problem reading CDs it has burned itself.
It has been suggested that the firmware be upgraded to version 1.02.
I have downloaded the zip file (v. 1.02), but as I have never done
such a thing, I am afraid to open it (zip file) for fear of starting
something that due to my incompetence, may fry the drive... and I
can't afford to buy another. Is the upgrade a difficult task? It
would be appreciated if someone could explain how to accomplish that
which has left me too afraid to even attempt.
