I have this nice computer, with a Asus
P2-99 mobo, 550 PIII and 256 MB RAM,
that won't boot from a Win2000 disk.

The mobo has the latest available BIOS
update (Rev. 1012), and it ran on Win98
for years without problems.

The BIOS boot setup is CDROM, C, A
but for some annoying, reason, won't
recognize the Windows CD as a boot disk.

Boot From ATAPI CD-ROM
Failiure. Invalid System Disk... ugh!

This is a genuine Win2000 CDROM that
boots flawlessly on my other PC.

Is there something i'm forgetting in the
BIOS setup? This motherboard is supposed
to support Windows 2000 without any
problem. Any tip would be most
appreciated.

Thanks

Robert, in Montreal
