View Full Version : Q2004 Deluxe Error & Terminate

Since upgrading from Q2003 Deluxe I have a problem resulting in an 'error
and terminate' instruction using Q2004 Deluxe (WinXP Home).
I sign into any of my four accounts normally and then WITHOUT doing anything
else I can Exit by clicking on the Window's close "X" box OR I can click on
a Backup Icon to backup the data files to another directory on the same hard
drive.
However, if I do almost ANY other operation such as clicking on the
Portfolio Icon and then try the Backup Icon OR even only try to Exit I get
the following program error :
"The instruction at "0x0..." referenced memory at "0x0...". The memory could
not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program.".
I click OK and Q2004 terminates. It restarts normally and will complete the
External Backup or Exit function if I do not do anything else first.
I have already uninstalled Q2004 and then ran Norton WinDoc to remove all
references. I used EndItAll to have no other applications running and then
reinstalled Q2004. After a reboot and Q2004 ran with the same results.
Any suggestions ??
