Hi,
I would like to upgrade my bios so that it can read the SSE
instruction set as required by Adobe Premiere Pro. I contacted
esupport who seem to be the main support for Award Software
manufacturers of the motherboard and they said they could get me a new
bios but that it would cost $80. Is this normal to charge for such
upgrades to a bios?
I was told that the new bios would work much better with WinXP as it
would work better with plug and play and it would "set the interuppts
itself"(?)
Can anyone advise if it is worth it and if I can get it anywhere else
cheaper.
Here are my specs:

This site will help you find the manufacturer of your mobo.
It definitely wasn't Award/AMI or Phoenix.
The maker should supply it for free.

Thanks for the plug. :) This one, however, comes courtesy of the fine
folks at Plasma Online.

It's an Azza 366X-AS.
