The wheel on my wireless mouse has began changing web pages. I went
into mouse properties and made sure it was set to scroll lines and not
pages, I've also tried changing batteries. I've been using this mouse
for almost two years and have no problems till now. I made no changes
or adjustments to my PC prior to this problem. I run XP Pro and the
mouse is made by Microinnovations. I looked for help at the
manufacturers website but had no success. Thanks, Gator

"changing web pages" how?
- Scrolling down too far on the currently viewed page (like PageDown)?
- Pretending to be your browser's Back and Forward buttons?
- Switching between any open windows, like Alt-Tab?
- Changing the actual text on the screen to something else (like Chinese)?

It does it when I roll the wheel real fast, it doesn't matter if the
wheel is scrolled forward or backward. If I roll the wheel slowly it
works fine until it reaches the bottom or top of the web page, then the
web page changes back to the page that was previously showing .Answers
to the four questions; 1) Yes (but it doesn't do it if I use the Page
Down/Up keyboard keys), 2) It will change the web page back but not
foward, 3) It will continually roll the pages back to the start page,
4) It doesn't alter the text at all. By the way I run XP Pro. ThanKs,
Gator
