I just bought a CM Cavalier 4 case for an HTPC. It has a 300w
proprietary psu that is smaller than a regular ATX psu. I have two
questions:
1. Does anyone know how to replace this psu if it blows? The Cooler
Master website gives no hint about whether this is possible.
2. Does anyone know of a same-sized psu with higher wattage?
Thank you.

Obvious: Buy new complete case and only use the PSU.
If you are lucky and have the skills, you might be able
to fit in a standard PSU.

Unlikely to exist if the format is really proprietary.
My advice is to stay away from anything proprietary. They
will allmost allways try to screw you over, regardless of
whether it is hardware or software.
