Check the cables (power, ide) and connectors. If they are all ok, try
the drive is another system if you can. Or, try another drive in its
place. Or, get a burner in its place. Best Buy (online?) is supposed
to have a sale this week on Liteon 52x32x52 burner for $10 after
rebates.
