(sfv stands for Simple File Verification; it checks for validity of the
cue/bin.)

You burn the cue/bin as image, not data. CDRWin, Fireburner, Nero burn
them.

In Nero, [File, Burn Image], and then point to the .cue.

thanks to all who replied ;O)

If the cue file is used, why the other two supplied. Am I being stupid or
am I missing the point

Sorry about seeming stupid but this is the first time I have encountered
this.

Chris

As I said .sfv stands for Simple File Verification; it verifies the
cue/bin you have are the same as the original.

If open the .cue in a text editor, you'll see it specifies the .bin.

(BTW, if the .bin is specified with pathnames, delete the path.)

The cue file tells the software what to do with the files.

The bin is the actual image. The cue is a text file (look at it in notepad)
that points to the bin file, and possibly has some other information. The
sfv is for verification. You point your software to the cue file and it
tells the software how to proceed.

BTW - if the reference to the bin file in the cue contains a path, delete
it, leaving only the file name. This will cause the software to check the
same folder as the cue file and not some other, possibly non-existant,
folder.
