My burner doesn't work anymore, maybe one of you can help me fix the
problem or tell me if it's broken. When I try to burn a cd in
Acoustica MP3 CD burner it's show an error called:
'write' command failed on device 1:1:0 Read/Write error or bad medium
detected (04h 00h 02h 03h 73h 02h)
My computer works under Windows XP Pro, is it possible that this is
the problem. I want to thank you for trying to help me. I hope someone
has an answer for me.
Goodbye

Looks like the burner has reached its end. You can try a clean and lube
job (like with the Ricoh 7040 burners). Suggest look around for a new
burner.

You don't state - are you using the same brand of disks that have worked in
that drive in the past? Some drives are finicky about certain types /
brands of disks.
If this is the first time you've tried this brand and are now getting this
error, go back to a brand that you know has worked in the past and try
again. If this error is happening with a brand that has previously worked,
then you are likely in the market for a new burner. Fortunately they are
less than 1/3 of the cost of your Philips when it was new.
