Cannot erase DVD+RW discs with NEC ND1100A

I'm running Nero 5.5.
It burns CD-RW and DVD+RW but erases CD-RW only.
I get tthe error message "SCSI target error" when trying to erase DVD+RW
even if this is not a SCSI device. Any suggestions?

Try the latest Nero released a few days ago.
Try different brand of DVD+RW.
