View Full Version : Burning multiple discs at once

I'd like to burn three discs simultaneously from a single master .iso
or audio file. This will be on a PC with WinXP. I'm having an
unusually hard time determining which burning software supports this
functionality. If anyone has any preference, please let me know.

Also, I need to know if any special hardware is required. For
example, does each recorder need to be on it's own IDE bus? Can I use
multiple USB 2.0 recorders off the same USB 2.0 card? Should I prefer
FireWire? Is processor speed of any issue? (This will probably be on
a P3/600, but I can move to a P4/2.0 if it's necessary.)

Thanks,
Bill Hayden

Softwares based on the Prassi burn engine support simultaneous burning
up to 64 burners. RecordNow MAX 4.5 has that capability (but not
certain with Sonic's RecordNow).

Don't think Sonic mentions about it:

Don't know about the speed and USB/Firewire issues, but burning to two
burners on the secondary IDE channel is no problem.
