Is there a firmware upgrade for the DW-U18A anywhere?

Are there a better NGs/places to post this query?

DWU18A is the OEM version of DRU530A and as such is not supported by Sony.
Whether firmware updates for that work I don't know, I have posted the same
question on a few ng's but no clear answers.
