OK, I've taken the auto-open command from Windows XP. I've tapped it.
Slightly tried to pry it open. Nothing works.

What do you do?

There is a small hole in the front of the unit. Put a paper clip in it
and push it in. It should open unless ther is something inside that
has it jammed.

Remove "NOT" from email address to reply via email"

Later,
Malcolm

And if that fails, take the unit out of the computer and remove the
cover. The CD will then be readily accessible. If you have to do that
something in the drive broke or slipped.
