Hi,

Ran into a bit of a snag the other day ... I installed some software and
during the intall the system shutdown and since then my system will not
allow access to either of my CDR or DVDR drives.

The drive is displayed in device Manager with the yellow exclamation mark
but not in "My Computer"

I have tried to copy the system files (cdrom.sys, imapi.sys, redbook.sys,
storprop.dll) from another Win XP machine with no luck.

I really do not want to reinstall Win XP ... anyone have any ideas ????

Thanks in advance,

Jeff
