Please help: Writer Error

I have recently been forced to go back to using Win 98 from XP, I had no
problems burning CD in xp.

Since re-installing 98 when i burn i get ;

Writter Error, Medium Error 2.225

As I know very little of how to correct this problem I searched the Web, to
no avail.

I do have the driver on floppy that came with the burner, and have installed
that, ( maybe i did it wrong)

I still get same error and am waisting cd`s trying, please help

In Win98, unlike in WinXP, you need a consistent ASPI. Yours may be
inconsistent or it may be only the old, inadequate part of ASPI buitl
into Win9x. You can download ASPI32.EXE from Adaptec's WWW site and use
that or, depending on your mastering software, you may be better off
with Ahead's limited WINASPI, which goes in the folder with your
mastering program.
