CD-ROM problem- Open-closes continuously

Hi,

My system got a problem that CD-ROM open and closes continously if any
operation I did on my computer. I could't find the solution.? I removed
antivirus software and tested again..but still the problem is comming..
Please, give me the solution

My Computer Configuration: 40GB,256MB RAM, OS:XP
