I've reloaded Win98SE and now my NIC wont work. I also have no
startup Login Screen which I suspect is related.
In Device Manager if I check the properties of my network card it is
either disabled and when I enable it and it reboots it has the
message;
"This device is not working properly because Windows
cannot load the file [odiload.vxd] that loads the drivers
for the device [Code 8.]"
I've extracted odiload.vxd out of the cab folder it's in on the disk
and installed it in Windows/System but that did bugger all.
Under the error message it also suggests reloading Win98 which I've
now done about ten times to no avail.
I'm sure this has happened to ther people so someone must have the
answer.
Thanks in advance.
