Hi, I recently moved. In my old house I had an UltraSparc10 networked to my PCs via a Netgear FM114 wireless router. The US10 and some of the PCs were connected with ethernet cables and some used 802.11b wireless network cards. In my new house I have the FM114 in the basement, where it connects to the cable modem. I am currently working in a room with no ethernet jacks. In this room I am using my latop wirelessly. The US10 is also in this room, where it is impossible to connect to the router via ethernet cables. I really don't want to move the US10 to the basement for a variety of reasons, if it can be avoided. I have at my disposal a Netgear RT314 router and a Netgear EN104 hub, along with plenty of ethernet cables. Also, my laptop has a second ethernet card which can connect the laptop to a hub or router. My question is, using this hardware, is there some way to connect the laptop to the US10 so that I can connect to the internet from the US10. I don't care about any other networking requirements. All the PCs are running W2K and the US10 is running Solaris 2.8. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Regards, Andrew Wilford

It seems like you ought to be able to network the US10 to the laptop
and use the laptop as a proxy to the Internet, but I don't claim to
know the details involved.
