Hi Bob,
I don't understand your Prob. I've got a really big Network at home, wired
and wireless, both working fine... I've got a router, build from an old PC
(something 'round Duron 1000Mhz or so) with Debian Sid on it and a selfmade
Firewall based on iptables. Another Server is for routing the wireless to
the wired LAN. Everything is working fine and my experiences with
"prebuild" routers are more than bad. Only my handmade things satisfy
myself and working for years. So, think about reactivating an old PC as a
fileserver for Windows and Linux clients, a printserver and a firewall /
router. If you want, i could help you planning and building your network,
just inform me. Email me at korves@cw-services.net
Kind regards from Germany,
Tim Korves
