Hi,

I got a problem with my IBM R40-Notebook: By using the hotkey "Fn + F5"
(control of the wireless LAN-Card), normally a program will be executet,
in which you are able to switch the system mode of the 802.11-LAN-Card
("on" or "off").

In my case, no program will be executed. Instead of this, a display
message pops up with the following content (I try to translate it from
german to english, sorry for that):

(German) "Der Betriebsmodus der 802.11-Funkverbindung kann nicht
geändert werden. Aktualisieren Sie den Treiber für den Adapter für
drahtlose LAN-Verbindungen."

(English) "The operating mode of the 802.11 wireless connection can't be
changed. Please update the driver for the adapter for wireless LAN
connections."

I have updated the driver but nothing happens. The system message is the
same. What should I do?

Thanks!
Oliver
