I am having the same problems as this person is? Any suggestions on how
to correct? Thanks.

Am attempting to reinstall WUSB11 network adapter drivers after upgrading to Windows XP. I removed the old drivers and every mention of Linksys., I could find. Windows recognizes the Adapter as new hardware, but when I try to install the new XP drivers, I get the message;" The name is already in use as either a service name or a service display name" and terminates the install. The adapter shows up on the Device Manager, but I can't get the driver installed. Can't quite figure out what they are talking about. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem when upgrading from an older device driver
(1.7.x.x) to the newer driver (2.0.x.x). I searched the registry for
"LSWLUSB.SYS". You will probably find a couple entries under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSetxxx\Services. Delete all of them.
Restart Windows and if you are lucky like I was the driver
installation will complete successfully when Windows comes back up.
