Hi, I have a Compaq laptop (R3240US) with an Integrated wireless
card(802.11G). I have hear that Netgear has had some issues with Integrated
card (most often Dell). I was wondering if anyone has had any experience
with Compaq (good or bad) with compatibility and the WGR614. Or even, if
there is some insight on the WGR614. I have had NetGear RP614 and have been
very pleased. Any input is appreciated.
Thanks, Guy

A friend of mine had one of these very briefly and eventually replaced it
with a Dlink wifi router. The reason for this was that even though the
performance of the Netgear was acceptable, it used to lock up from time to
time.

Well...I bought it, hooked it up and all it fine. It was very simple and I
spent all day (yesterday) on my wireless connection. No issues so far. I
have the encryption disabled, but will work on getting setup in the next
couple days.
So far I have been very pleased with the performance/easy setup and no lost
connections.
Thanks for the reply....
