I have set up a network in my home and for some reason one of my three
workstations can't connect to the doamin. I receive an error message that
states the domain can not be found. I switched to a static IP on the
workstation but it still can't join the doamin nor can it ping the server
(request timed out). The server can not ping the workstation as well. I
typed in the IP address of the server to use as the gateway and DNS.

Any suggestions as to where I may check? All other workstations operate
properly.

Is your domain setup as a domain?
