Hi,

Just aquired an 040 @ 25mghz Cube with and MO drive. I cannot get it to
boot off of my SCSI drive. I also cannot get into the ROM monitor. I have
removed and replaced the battery on the motherboard and now instead of
giving me a verbose bootup where it said blk 0: and went to the prompt, it
boots graphically and trys to boot off the network. If the SCSI controllor
is dead, will the onboard boot diagnostics catch it?

Thanks.

You need to do the key squence to get into the rom monitor. cmd-cmd-~ if
I remember correctly. Then you can use 'p' to tell it to boot from disk,
set the verbose mode, etc....
