Hello

My name is Krzysztof and I need help with my NeXT.

Recently I managed to get the NeXT(N1100)mono with monitor(
N4000A),keyboard,mouse and laser printer, but unfortunetly without monitor
cable.
I surfed the web to find some tips how to make that kind of a cable from 2
DB 25 plugs.
Firstly I wanted to check if the computer works- so I made the dongle key to
simulate the POWER button pressing.Unfortunately I made it without resistor
(470 Ohm) .
When I connected the plug to the monitor junction , I connected the
reinforcement and pressed the button on the plug.I heard the powersupply
cooler and the HD working. Then I unpluged the plug.
Afterwards I made the monitor cable according to the instructions, and
connected them directly - pin 1 in the plug in the computer to pin 1 in the
plug in the monitor.Secondly I connected the monitor to the keyboard, mouse
,NeXT i turned the reinforcement on. I pressed the power button on the
keyboard and nothing, to computer did not start.I also tried to connect the
microswitch to the plug in the computer and simulate the start of the
computer but it also did not work.
What am I doing wrong ?
Could I by any chance damaged the computer?

I am asking for help to find the error.

Best Regards
