Turbocolor, with Soundbox and Y-cable.

Can I connect it to a mono N4000A? Does it work or is there a damage
risk?

Thanks,
Giampiero

I don't think that there's any risk of damage but I don't think that
it will work.

OK. I will try when I have the possibility; that Turbocolor is not mine.

Thanks,
Giampiero

Won't work. The pins used for mono video are not present on the color
slabs (the RGB mini-coax connectors of the 13W3 are in their place).
The Y-cable simply splits the R,G,B connectors out to the monitor (which
is sync-on-green, so no sync pins), and the other 10 pins to the sound box.

It *might* be possible to use a mono monitor as a sound/keyboard/mouse
interface, but you definitely won't get any video out of it, so you may
as well use a sound box.
