I'm using a 17" LCD monitor and I see round circles just fine. Running
1024x768.

Then, with Windows3.1, many of us we went on to run 800x600 and 1024x768, both of which stillis 4:3. And all of a sudden, 1280x1024 was "the" setting for some oddreason. Odd, because it is NOT 4:3 (whereas 1280x960 is).1280x1024 caused every single CAD-person I know of to adjust their CRT's tothe limits in order to make i.e. AutoCAD display round circles.Unfortunately, LCD monitors are built to operate with a certain resolution, and although they might have other settings than the default, you willexperience loss of image quality.Just a shot in the dark....Peter Hi Peter, Thank you for taking the time to reply to my request. I have tried the other resolutions without success and cuurrently running on 1024 x 768. I tried 1280x1024 and, like a number of other resolutions this is either beyond the monitor or video card because I get the 'input data not compatable' dialog box. In desperation, because I've got to finish preparing some artwork for my printer, I've swapped over with the old CRT from my second computer. Cheers, Gary

Please tell, what's the brand of the monitor? I'm at my wits end here
with this AOC thing and would like to get this resolved before the
retailer starts making noises about not exchanging or refunding.
Cheers,
Gary
