Hello, I have a logo that was built in Illy. Took the illy file to PS7
to lose the white background behind the logo. I now took the transparent
PS file of the logo and placed in INDesign2.0 on a colored frame. Here
is my problem.
The placed logo has a different shade of color background than the frame
it is placed on. Assuming brown was the color used of the frame to
place the logo on top of--what I now see is the brown frame with a
Lighter Brown smaller frame enclosing the logo. (I hope this is clear).
What I have surmised is happening is that the Brown frame I built in
InDEsign is on a white background (default?) and the placed logo (with
its transparent background) is not "taking" the brown color the same.
What the heck is up with this and how do I fix it.
BTW--seems to me that I tried bring the logo in on a white background,
but when placed, it had a white background around it--not what I want to
do--I want the logo to float on top of the brown frame I made in InDesign.
Thanks for your help as always.

You shouldn't need to use Photoshop to get rid of a background in a logo done
in AI. Just change the background fill to "no color" (white box with red line
through it).
What you're seeing are anti-aliasing from Photoshop or remnants of the brown.
Your best bet is to create the logo on the brown frame the way you want it in
AI and then put the whole thing into ID.
