changing anchor points to handles

If I created a closed path using only anchor points but realized I
should have added some handles so I can smooth out the corners. How
can I now go back and convert some of the anchor points into handles.

Use the Converter tool (in with the pen tools - looks like a >). Clik on the
anchor point to change and drag to change it to a smooth point instead of a
corner point.
