Levi,

You might want to try an application designed for making labels. Take
a look at Bar Tender for Windows. You can download the trial edition
which works like the full version of the software for 30 days. You
may find this is a more practical solution.

You can design the layout for a single item and specify how it will be
repeated on the page. For example, one column across and 10 items per
page, something like that. You can drop in text, images, barcodes,
etc. Bar Tender will read the variable data from any ODBC compliant
database.

Here's a link for info and the trial download:

Each sheet uses the same template just the description, image and barcode changes. I understand that there is a way to automate such a process in illustrator but the Adobe help is not very descriptive. Does anyone familiar with data sets and data-driven graphics in Illustrator? Maybe someone has a suggestion on an alternative to Illustrator. HELP! I'm open to suggestions. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Levi
