You can use Photoshop for text, but you will need to create it at a fairly
high resolution to get the same crisp text as Illustrator - which means your
going to be dealing with a much larger file size. That's the only 'con' that
comes to mind.

Hi, I need to add some text into a CD cover and case design. I'd hope the
result is clean and crisp. I have both Illustrator and Photoshop. Since
Illustrator uses vector based graphic, I can outline the words and the result should
be pretty good. I also know Photoshop has many features for Types. Is there
any pros and cons for Types with Illustrator or Photoshop? Also, does the size of fonts used matter (in choosing between Illustrator or Photoshop)? Thanks very much. Eric.
