When you test software developed with Extreme Programming, do you use
Extreme Testing or Extreme Debugging? Or even Extreme QA? When you come
to write it up, do you write Extreme Documentation? When you release it
to manufacturing, do you do Extreme RTM and produce Extreme Distros?
When you put out bugfixes or updates, do you do Extreme Patching or
Extreme Updating?

When you're researching product features, do you use Extreme Marketing?
And when you're financing the software development, do you get Extreme
VCs to do Extreme Accounting with Extreme Tax Consultants, leading up to
an Extreme IPO? With some help from Extreme Legal? All overseen by
Extreme Management?

Enquiring minds want to know...

I believe that what Kent had in mind was the dedication
and discipline that the people who do extreme sports
have to have to avoid being maimed, killed, spindled
and otherwise mutilated while doing those apparently
idiotic things.

In other words, think of Extreme Discipline.
