The packages we have to buy are: Database: Oracle 9.0.1.2 or next Enterprise Edition. Application Server: Oracle9iAS 1.0.2.2 or next. Oracle Enterprise Manager: OEM 9.0.1. Oracle Workflow: Oracle Workflow server: 2.6.1/2.6.2 (2.6.2 is better) and Workflow client: 2.6.1 Warehouse Builder: Release 9.03 Is it correct?
Well, if you want to build a warehouse on ORACLE, try using the
latetest product - they happen to be the greatest in most of the
cases.
For the backend, you want to use 9.2 Enterprise edition.
For the ETL, the latest version of ORACLE Warehouse builder is 9.0.4,
which has some major differences from 9.0.3.
For the frontend reporting, you should probably get the ORACLE
Discoverer - if you don't have other OLAP tools in mind.
