IT Forums - 6i Report field postion printer dependant

Hi,

A 6i report contains a field which must be exactly aligned on
pre-printed stationary. Two different model HP printers are being used
and the field is changing position (very slightly) depending on the
printer selected. I'm wondering can anyone suggest what is causing
this and how it might be corrected.

Hi Michael,

seems to be related to the printer drivers. If possible,
try to use the same driver for both printers. Or maybe
changing the report to character mode(eek!) can help.
