Hello,

Just a layout question ... or are button items always gray ?
Setting colors does not apply.

TIA, Jan

Unless they're iconic, it seems so.

No. Unless you do it in the Windows Control Panel and then it affects
every button in
every application.

If you run your Forms in the Web architecture you can change the color
of buttons. On c/s it is decided by the windows display settings.

That was some time ago ... meanwhile
I played around a little and found this
by setting the following properties of a button:

symbol Form -> Yes (default is No)
"No" shows the button text and hide the colors, "Yes" does the opposite:
colors but no text on the button.
So one may want to use the prompt instead.

Then set foreground and background colors as needed,
eventually by Set_Item_Property ( ).

Greetings, Jan

Hey Jan,

I've tried to do this before myself, to no avail. What version of Forms are
you running, because I don't have a property for "symbol Form"? What
property category is this in?
Then set foreground and background colors as needed, eventually by Set_Item_Property ( ).
And can you set the colors at design time? BTW I'm using 6i.

Thanks
