View Full Version : BEWARE - Latest XP drivers for PSC 2210 may be faulty?

I also updated my PSC 2210 All-In-One driver for my HP 725n Pavillion
from the web recently and did not experience the same problem.
Everything installed properly and I was able to see and use all the
features. The problem I'm having is that my HP 725n will not start
properly if the HP PSC 2210 is turned on. The computer locks up and I
have to perform a "forced" power off. If the printer is turned off
while booting, then everything boots smoothly. As soon as I see the
desktop displayed (after the welcome screen) I can then power up my
PSC and the printer and computer work together well. I am surprised
that the two HP devices are having this compatibility problem. I read
somewhere that this is related to a USB issue. Has anyone else seen
this problem?
