View Full Version : Problem removing jobs from print queue

When my printer jams, it beeps a few times, then stops with the red light
flashing. The problem is that when I go into the CONTROL PANEL / PRINTERS menu
and cancel the print job, I have to either (a) wait 5 minutes or so for it to
clear from the queue, or (b) reboot the computer. I have tried turning off the
printer, leaving it on, disconnecting the printer cable, etc, etc., but can
find no way to clear it right away.
Any other way to quickly delete this kind of job from a queue?
I’m using Windows 98SE.
Thanks in advance!
